Imagine working with schools to set up a Dragons Den style / Apprentice type challenge in partnership with local businesses?  You will be working with 25 central London schools / colleges to help coordinate events and programmes to educate and prepare young people for the world of work.

TV themed challenges aside, you could be setting up motivational talks, work exp programmes or arranging for leading tech companies to come in and deliver workshops on how to code, or set up a business.  Its about connecting local business to do their part and preparing the next generation.

As the key coordinator for the project, you will engage with both schools, colleges and local businesses.  Identifying the needs of young people and accessing the existing employer network to match them up with senior business leaders who want to give something back (or engaging with new businesses to get on board the programme).

The organisation you will be working for have a fantastic reputation for looking after and developing their staff (educational development, paid sabbaticals etc). To apply, its essential you have worked with, or within a school / college environment.  Ideally will also have an ability to work with stakeholders and engage with businesses.

Please note: to apply you must have a GCSE English at B grade and 2 x A levels or equivalent qualifications.

This role could suit a careers advisor that has worked in a school or college.  Or maybe an ex teacher, who has changed career and wants to move back to education but in a different capacity.  Other types of background this could suit might be recruitment consultants (within education recruitment).
