Work Experience Coordinator (Colindale)

Job Reference: RR709

Salary/Hourly Rate: £23,000-£25,000

Location: Colindale

Full or Part time: Full time

Duration: Permanent

Helping young people secure their first ever work experience placement is a pretty rewarding job don’t you think?  You will be joining a specialist youth charity with a clear progression path, and working in an adult environment (no KPI bashing).  This might suit someone who works in sales, but would like to do good things, and at an organisation that looks after its people.

You will work with a caseload of 30 young people, understanding what their goals and ambitions are, and then identifying work placements with employers.  You will  be based in Colindale, and occasionally working out of their  Edmonton  and Watford offices.  The young people are working on the Study Programme,  which helps to prepare them for the world of work through studying vocational and functional skills.

In the first 6 – 12 months, a big focus will be on developing new employers relationships (after this point, you will likely be managing key employer accounts).  But initially, it will involve lots of new business calls / marketing to contact employers to promote the scheme (which doesn’t cost employers a penny except lunch and travel cost).  Next steps career wise, you could move into a £30k (basic) position, working with bigger employers discussing apprenticeships, so there is a nice progression route.

Please apply via this advert.  You must have some business to business sales experience.  If you have applied and not heard back, or would like to find out more before applying, please call the office and ask for Riccardo (contact details on the Red 5 Solutions website).  This role would suit someone who was a sales consultant, recruitment consultant or that has worked in telesales.
