This is a management role of both a small team of Supply Chain Performance Executives and will also manage a reduced number of supply chain partners according to the needs of the programme.

The Programme is for young people of school age and aims to provide a range of soft skills and experiences that will help them to develop clearer goals and open up pathways for their future.

The Performance Manager ensures that all supply chain partners are working to achieve agreed performance levels and contract requirements from contract returned stage through to provision delivery. The Performance Manager works with autonomy and regularly reports back, with recommendations, to the Operations Manager/Programme Director highlighting any success, development or concern areas. Exceptional written and verbal skills are a key part of the role as regular communications with a wide range of stakeholders are necessary. The Supply Chain Performance Manager thrives on a challenge, is proactive and resilient and has a can do attitude that is focussed on long term reward in conjunction with immediate delivery.

Ideal Experience

Ideally you will have experience working on a similar, public sector programme but this is not essential
If you can demonstrate experience within a supply chain performance management role from another sector we would still be keen to hear from you.

You must be decisive, analytical and quality-focused
Ability to work in a fast-faced role with experience of managing multiple projects
Experience of managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills
You should also have some form of people/performance management experience
